ok well ive been having an ok time playing civ 6 and spain just called me straight out blasphemous with no real mechanical consequence for doing so so i'm just gonna stop for now

why can't my cow religion just live in peace? don't have a cow, spain

@vahnj Spain is specifically programmed to always try to found a religion and always get violent at anyone who doesn’t follow it - even if you haven’t had a chance to get proselytized yet. Civ6 Spain is at constant war basically

This is why I like random leadership traits though. I don't think they have it in this one like they did in 5

@vahnj Each leader has two personality traits. One is never random, the other (the “hidden agenda”) is randomly picked from a generic pool but the pick may be weighted. (Gandhi is always the Peacekeeper, but he is only almost always Nuke Happy. Spain is always violently obsessed with their own religion, but it is random that they prefer civs with a large military.)
