Again with “go jogging;”
if I felt I could afford it, I’d gladly go back to lifting weights, fencing, wing tsun or capoeira. Heck I still want to learn escrima. You’re telling me to somehow get enthused about the exercise equivalent of eating unflavored oatmeal because it’s good for me. It’s not exercising I mind; it’s that again I’m too poor to do what I really enjoy.

@zebratron2084 it’s just frustrating. I’m actually a jock in my own weird way. Hopefully if I jog or whatever FOR MY HEALTH it’ll wind up as appealing as drinking tea/herbal tea FOR MY HEALTH (it turns out I actually want the hot drink aspect and am less picky about the variety).
And I hate how people push yoga and meditation; it’s a little like how broccoli, spinach and kale are awesome yet become less appealing once vaguely mandated.

@Leucrotta FWIW, I hate that shit and sympathize. If I had a fucking dollar for every person who dismissed my scary fatigue issues circa 2005 with "do some yoga," I'd... well, tbh, I'd probably buy a time machine and a wiffle bat. ;p
