Thinking about;
* some memories of Augusta, growing up. Literally a world which doesn’t exist anymore, that’s kinda mind blowing.
* related, kinda wanting to watch a batch of Muppet Show episodes- was it as good as the vague memories, worse, better?
* really want to work f/t as an artist though I really have no clue how to do it
* want to go home and draw, though I probably should wash dishes and move boxes
@zebratron2084 all I have are a few specific memories (like crying unstoppably during Danny Kaye’s “Inchworm” song), rewatching some stuff with Sammi as an adult, and basic cultural knowledge; I know I used to love it. Maybe it’d be like a whole new series, for me?
@Leucrotta I've found that generally actual Henson stuff has aged pretty damn well. Muppet Show's humor's seemed a little dated and cheesy when I've gone back to it, but in a way that I at least found kinda charming? It's... hokey, but you can still tell just how much love and talent Jim and co. put into it. When it's "bad," it's generally lovably, endearingly bad on purpose like a Dad Joke.
