Occasionally my baggage is pretty obvious (though where it’s rooted in key fears of abandonment or entrapment may not be).
I can feel TERRIBLE about “well everyone likes this/doesn’t like this/has this sort of life, I must be deeply flawed to be this way/any moment now people will discover I’m officially “wrong” and will neglect or bully me.” The most minor example is how as an earnest young D&D nerd I thought everyone adored Dragonlance, and I just didn’t.
Maybe the most major example is how I’m embarrassed by my age, slightly because I wish I had the resources I was taught I “should” have at this age, and far more because I worry people will really judge me for not having had a significant career, family or material wealth. Stuff like that.
