I feel people need to actively sink energy into alienating me.
I feel P and K have actively sunk energy into alienating me.
Not pictured; the post-midnight television under my floor, the dishwasher and functional laundry facilities that haven’t been provided, the lack of central heating, the non functioning car in the driveway, the weed stash which degassed in the attic, the weeks we had no electricity, and more!
@emanate They keep making changes. Fortunately for me, E and A, A has a similar small refrigerator in their room, and E and A will keep food there.
Then P & K moved a new big fridge in - and that's why the pantry's blocked like that. We've had no instructions for how to divvy it up yet. I'm thin but E isn't and she has back problems, too. A does dishes at a very slow rate, but he's it, since neither I nor E have the spoons after working.
@emanate Thank you, for backing me up on this. I am currently fucking livid and playing music to calm down.
@Leucrotta *hugs* Is the house actually being remodeled or are these others just undertaking massive changes without finishing or actually consulting with roommates? (or renters, or whatever?) I just can't see how all this is in any way legal, much less sane.
@emanate The house is theoretically a work in process now basically belonging to K. We knew there would be renovations, but they tend to be sudden or announced via the whiteboard. Thankfully I don't think it's intentional crazymaking (except in my most paranoid moments) but I still really feel like there's always something.
@Leucrotta "No electricity" sounds like grounds for withholding rent. Might want to check CA law on that.
@Jssra Right now, I just want to get out of here peaceably and soon. They're hoping to get more renters, but I honestly hope E can make her way someplace else as well.
@Leucrotta Best of luck.
@Leucrotta Holy shit that's unliveable. D:
