so this is the first time I've listened to Blue Oyster Cult's "Fire of Unknown Origin" and it's a great album however I now want to

1) play "Traveller"
2) rewatch the AWESOME part of "Heavy Metal"
3) have an entire edible

instead of working

@Leucrotta I'm very fond of it! Secret Treaties is also good if for nothing esle having Flaming Telepaths on it

@IrisKalmia It hadn't occurred to me there might be full BOC albums on YouTube, so I went looking. So far I've done Fire of Unknown Origin, Specters, Secret Treaties (drawn in by the appeal of there being a song about Me 262s, which didn't disappoint) and a little of Mirror. They're all pretty listenable.

@Leucrotta Cultosarus Erectus is also pretty good. Black Blade is a fun song if you follow it's entire line end to end

@IrisKalmia Black Blade is the only track I've heard from that album so far ("they have a track about Elric" is a sure way to get me to listen to it a b'jillion times). Mirrors is kinda nebulously very 70s for me, so maybe I'll swap out to Cultosaurus instead.

@Leucrotta It is a super dope album. It feels like such a specific kind of space opera that there is a universality in it, paradoxically.
