Story brainstorming/musing
I'm trying to figure out a believable way to present magic in my story, seeing as it's a sort of near-future setting. This sort of thing I'm always fumbling around the usual questions. How does something like this go unnoticed, etc etc

@Oneironott I get hung up on 'why' in so many things. It's a hard trap to get out of.

@Oneironott One of the central things about magical realism is never bothering to explain why things like magic exist. So yeah, it's perfectly legit to skip the 'why' and go straight to 'what happens'.

@emanate Yeah I dig ^.^
Story brainstorming/musing
Like a lot of things, maybe I get to hung up on the "why"s. I should just probably present it as it is? hmm....
