Can somone explain to be the use of (+) (-) or (+/-) in the content warning box? I see it used commonly and would love to know what they mean so I can better do things properly ^^

+ is positive ("Mental Heath +" or "MH +" is a positive mental heath toot)

- is negative ("politics -" is a negative toot about politics.)

They stack, too! The more + the better, the more - the worse. D:

@mawr @Heffboom_Konijn There's also some niche use of ~ to indicate "More or less". So Mental Health (~+) means it's more or less positive, but not as much as a (+) would be.

@Soreth @mawr @Heffboom_Konijn I use ~ to mean either "neutral but complicated" or "a mix of positive and negative".

@Soreth @mawr @Heffboom_Konijn "emotionally complicated and overall negative, but there's more going on than just a complaint."
