So I'm pretty sure that one of the best examples of a non-toxic but fully affirming masculinity that I've ever seen in media is.... Gomez Addams.

I'm honestly not sure what that means.

@Soreth he's just so happy he wakes up every morning and gets to be him.

@Soreth The Addams family is kind of famous for being like, the most functional family on television

@Soreth I think it's because Gomez is excited for everything and everyone. His masculinity is predicated on the joy he feels -experiencing- the depth and diversity of life.

And, y'know, sometimes death.

@Soreth

Oh my gosh. Oh my GOSH that's a good example. I'm adding it to my list of examples of that. :dragn_hearteyes:

I read a very compelling essay some time ago, somewhere. It said the main thing that makes people relate to the Addams Family better than other families on TV is that Gomez and Morticia sincerely *love* each other.

@Soreth He's great!! The top of my list is Kronk from Emperor's New Groove :blob_aww:

@jacel @Soreth
It's good to own enthusiastic and friendly mans (consensually of course). :blobuwu:
