Three-degree-Kelvin take
17776 alienates me. It's a lovely premise -- waking up the onboard computers of satellites and getting them to form family units -- that they then ruin by getting football all over it. I don't like sports and I don't like sports fandom. Jon Bois' Pretty Good usually avoids this by being about math in the presence of sports, but I just can't seem to find a comfortable separation here. It also twigs my writer brain. The US won't even exist 18000 year in the future. C'mon.

@literorrery On the other hand, a crowd of football enthusiasts are suddenly getting a faceful of posthuman future and some of them are probably even thinking about it.

@literorrery Nine is so precious.

@Soreth See, that I support, and I'm not saying it shouldn't exist. I just keep bouncing off of it every time I try to get into it and it's hard not to feel I ought to be getting into it because Nine is precious. =;~;=
