@Sparrow Nope. It was Art on 5th here in Austin. A bunch of paintings of Theodor Seuss Geisel and some Muppet Show stuff, too, were on display. It was pretty cool.

They had other cool things, too... this was just a small sampling.

We had a lot of fun today, the three of us, just being goofy bums

@ThatDamnCat

Ooh cool, like an art and wine festival-kinda-thingie?

That sounds like a lot of fun! I'm glad you three had a nice time.

@Sparrow

Heh, nothing so advanced.

After having lunch, we wandered to a nearby game store for a while. Then, on the way to a comic/tabletop game store, we passed the art gallery and decided to go in. I enjoyed it a lot!

I'm discovering my neighborhood again and it's cool!

@ThatDamnCat

Ooh, that sounds like fun regardless!

Did you buy anything fun at the game store?

Oh yes, one of my favorite things to do is explore neighborhoods. I usually do it as part of getting to know a new place, but it's fun to revisit older places too. Sometimes there's a lot you can miss!

@Sparrow

Nah, we didn't buy anything. We're being conservative with funds right now, until we are caught up.

Also, Sara has all the roms for games so not much need.

This area changes every few years so it's good to look around. I have seen quite a few places this week that I didn't know existed because I'm always driving instead of walking. Our nighttime walks have proven quite enlightening

@ThatDamnCat

That makes sense. I'm being similarly conservative, until I get a second job.

Totally, totally. I've had to re-explore even parts of the bay area I'm most familiar with because it changes up so much.

Night walks with Sara are :ok_hand_hmn_b1:
