I want to refer to it in an essay, and can't simply offer my personal recollection as evidence.

@brooke welp, i can't find it, sorry :c it's almost impossible to search through my post history but i know i talked to the author... i'm almost certain it was called "mastodon is dead" or something bc it talked specifically about how patreon surge with nonqueer folks means queer people's needs were starting to get decentred... but now i can't find it searching on medium. maybe they deleted it? iuno

which is mostly about... other stuff.. and doesn't paint the nicest picture, but it still describes it as an oral history.
