I definitely have! Also seconding the Weird Al thing. Many songs he does are ones I would not usually be listening to, like hip-hop stuff.
(That said, I heard Weird Al's version of Bohemian Rhapsody first, and once I was heard the original, was actually surprised that he hadn't even changed the lyrics at all.)
@emanate @LexYeen@snouts.online @starkatt weird Weird Al association; the song King of Suede somehow doesn’t sound like it’s about a particularly *successful* business, I get the image of his dealership tucked in this decaying strip mall with half the storefronts empty. Like the despair in the original carries over into the parody.
