@emanate @skolli@mastodon.social Don't panic! The general consensus I'm seeing in discussions is that this is (a) likely to get vehemently opposed even by Republicans (b) nothing local law enforcement is obliged to lift a finger for (c) categorically NOT obliging anyone to make a crackdown. It's more of a strategic maneuver than an actual strike, though it might disrupt markets financially a bit. There's WAY too much support behind legal weed right now. Colorado's apparently ready for war...

Yeah, I saw some more chat around this and looked up some articles, and am much less worried at this point.
Especially considering right now it's only /talk/ from the AG about this, not even action yet.
@emanate @skolli@mastodon.social I realize it's not the greatest journalistic source, but this article might prove reassuring, too: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2018/01/04/justice-department-crack-down-legal-marijuana-roll-back-obama-policy/1003183001/
I'm just thinking it's probably a bad day to go stock up on pot at dispensaries, because everyone's probably already trying to do the same.
@zebratron2084 Nice! Not too worried then. :-}
