We had snowy egrets sometimes in the field near my house when I was younger. They're breathtaking.
...what state are you in, actually? I forget, but those hills powerfully remind me of home, in the East Bay Area of California. :-)

We get snowys too which is what I thought it was, but then I looked up the difference and was surprised! Makes sense with how big it was, though.
