public Nazis, ethics, doxing, question
serious question to which I would like serious discussion/answers: is it ethical to dox Nazis? like, taking pictures of the Seattle Nazi crew (and their cars, and their buddies), posting them to the internet, finding out where they live/work and posting that to the internet, that kind of thing?
I'm fine with Nazi-punching, and in practice doxing has worked to silence them. I'm curious what y'all think on the subject.

@green It depends on what you intend to do with the dox.
Are you releasing them publicly? Probably not a good thing to do as it can come back onto you as well as potentially damage an innocent person if you're wrong (I've seen it happen way too much).
Are you sharing it with smaller groups to keep watch on them to work against them? Very good.
Please keep in mind that I'm very against doxxing personally, so don't post it on here if you decide to.

@vahnj this is exactly the kind of information/discussion I'm looking for. I was thinking about the people that did the torchlight mob-march and were later identified and fired, and about the dicks being public Nazis in Seattle but covering their faces, and trying to navigate the smartest, most effective *and ethical* thing to do.
