The earliest I remember experimenting with altering my consciousness, was spinning around really fast to make myself dizzy
@Leucrotta @kelseyhusky I totally did that too. Wheeeee! :3
@Leucrotta My favorite discovery was finding out I could "sober up" by spinning around the other direction
@kelseyhusky for real?
@Leucrotta @kelseyhusky This does not work for me. I just get dizzier. :P
A quick science lesson.
@Leucrotta As I understood it, "dizziness" is when the liquid inisde your bilogigal gyroscopes is disturbed. Since spinning sends the liquid around in one direction, it made sense to me to spin in the opposite direction to cancel out the initial disturbance.
Caveat: You have to start the cancelling spin almost as soon as you stop the initial spin, otherwise you'll over correct and just get dizzy in the opposite direction.
re: A quick science lesson.
@kelseyhusky @Leucrotta Oh huh! That may be why it didn't work for me, I was doing it wrong. :3 Nice!
re: A quick science lesson.
@IceWolf @Leucrotta It also helps to try and spin at the same rate and the same number of revolutions. Also, make sure to practice near something properly soft. You'll be falling over a lot before you get it figured out.
@kelseyhusky I think that’s default childhood right? I mean at least I did that.
