@mirzaba@cybre.space @Nerdcoresteve As someone who identified as a postmodernist, I would say that we aren't just throwing our talons in the air and declaring knowledge impossible. Rather, we're trying to urge everyone who relies on a model of understanding to interact with the universe both to remember that it is a model, not gnosis of the universe, and that the model encodes some number of assumptions. Those assumptions are as open to inquiry and critique as anything else.
@mirzaba@cybre.space @Nerdcoresteve Much of what we call "knowledge" is as much codified tradition as it is proven fact within the frame of scientific inquiry. Meanwhile, much of what we call experiential learning is discounted compared to experimental learning, especially when it contradicts the dominant metanarratives, even though it's as or more important in shaping how people perceive the world, which in turn changes how people act within it.
