Tonight's foodcrime: homemade split pea soup.
This is criminally easy. Dice bacon, carrots, onions. Fry to crispy and veg is melting. Remove from pot. Add peas, garlic broth, rosemary, pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and cook for an hour. Put the spurs to it, return extras, and heat through. Serve with cheese toast.
And save the animals.
@literorrery hm. if I brought ingredients/paid for ingredients from local store, could I come over for foodstuff sometime next week? *hopeful wagging and earperks*
@green You don't even have to pay for stuff. Let me find a night when I know I'm cooking something with easy subs. If you can find a GF soy sauce, I've got stir-fry plans, and that goes great over rice.
@literorrery I can definitely bring GF soy sauce, it's a staple in my house. :D
@literorrery U r the best @ crimes
@literorrery *whine* someday I'ma come over and eat some of whatever you're making ok? (with a little substitution of wheatstuff)
