My boss just told me I'm very perceptive.
@Momentrabbit @mawr We're not seeing a lot of engagement for one of our new business processes I'm trying to institute. So I wrote up a very polite letter to my coworkers saying, "hey, I see folks aren't doing the thing I've said we should be doing despite everyone saying this looks like a good idea. I'd like to know if there's a better way to get you to engage with the business process since I have a lot of data showing you're not doing it."
My boss suggested I find a different approach.

It sounds like you will have to tie Doing The Thing to some unrelated but enjoyable thing. Like receiving additional kelp crunchies. Or resuming airflow to their work module. Something playful and lighthearted.
