Tech problems, cleaning up our TV space
So, our TV has:
2 HDMI inputs
1 VGA input
1 F-connector for RF input
1 combined component/composite input
Things we want to connect to our TV:
1 computer (HDMI)
1 SNES (composite)
1 PS2 (component)
1 Wii (component)
1 PS3 (HDMI)
1 Wii u (HDMI)
1 Xbox 360 (HDMI)
1 Nintendo Switch (HDMI)
...you can see the problem here
re: Tech problems, cleaning up our TV space
@noiob Which one? If you're talking about the Wii and Wii U, the reason we have the Wii is for gamecube games because the gamecube component cable alone costs like four times as much as a wii
re: Tech problems, cleaning up our TV space
@Felthry you can play GC games on the Wii U and have HDMI out, you can probably also use other gamepads, I'm not super familiar with Nintendont (the GC loader) on the Wii U
re: Tech problems, cleaning up our TV space
@Felthry it doesn't eat GC discs though, you're gonna have to load backups
re: Tech problems, cleaning up our TV space
@noiob Yeah, we don't want to try to hack our wii u right now
re: Tech problems, cleaning up our TV space
@Felthry just keep it in mind, it's not hard and Nintendo doesn't care anymore
re: Tech problems, cleaning up our TV space
@noiob We also have a computer that can run Dolphin very well so I think there's not really much of a need
the main reason we have the wii in there at all is the same reason someone might have a record player--it's obsolete, but still neat to play original physical releases
re: Tech problems, cleaning up our TV space
@Felthry also you technically have a redundant console there :P
