ANGRY ABOUT FOOD AGAIN

I SPLURGED A BIT TO GET EXTRA GOOD BEEF PATTIES LAST TIME I ORDERED GROCERIES

THEN WASTED LEGITERALLY HALF OF THEM BC I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO USE A FUCKING STAINLESS STEEL FRYING PAN LOL FUCK

re: ANGRY ABOUT FOOD AGAIN

@vantablack tbh stainless just sucks, non-stick for life (or cast iron I guess but I've never used one of those)

re: ANGRY ABOUT FOOD AGAIN

@noiob @vantablack non-stick pans have their uses but you still need a bit of oil on them for things that are solid in nature if you want a good even cook, and also you have to be a lot more careful about which utensils you use and how you clean them.

I use non-stick and stainless about equally but I definitely prefer stainless for most things.

re: ANGRY ABOUT FOOD AGAIN

@fluffy @vantablack I simply only have soft utensils to use in my pans

re: ANGRY ABOUT FOOD AGAIN

@noiob @vantablack There’s a lot of times when a hard utensil gives you better control, like for fish and burgers. Also I get a better crust on nonstick pans.

Also on nonstick pans if your food is sticking you can use a hard metal spatula to scrape it off.

It’s mostly a matter of preference in the end though.

@fluffy @vantablack idk a plastic spatula works just fine for me and doesn't ruin my pans
