Wade Dankpods (or rather Wade Garbagetime) made me want a Casio again

I mean look at this beaut, it even has some very basic smartwatch/activity tracker functionality

@noiob I’ve been eyeing one of these for a while, the main thing is how well can Casio make an app for it. And I got a GA 2100 a little while back

@seatsea I mean the app doesn't need to do much, really, it'll mostly work without it. Sadly, no Gadgetbridge support codeberg.org/Freeyourgadget/Ga

@noiob That's true, I guess if you only care about day to day tracking and not historical, or if it's mainly the design that matters most.
Shame about gadgetbridge though. I should pull out the mi band I have and see how well that integrates these days

But yeah I figured the extra cost wasn't worth it for me. Maybe in future

@seatsea I mean it'd be nice to get tracking into google fit or sth, but then again my main smartwatch is using Fitbit and that can only write into Health Connect

@noiob I have a vague recollection of having a slightly more primitive version of this (that in hindsight may have been a knock-off) in the late 90s/early 00s as a kid and loving it to bits

@Forgebold Casios were everywhere and they start at like 20€ for the classic F-91W
