am I the only one who loves the postmarketOS name and thinks it doesn't need to be changed? There's references to postmarketOS everywhere - blogs, websites, chatrooms, and more. Renaming will only hurt the project, and postmarket is a term that embodies our mission perfectly. Not to mention that the logo is the ideal match for the name, and I don't think we can come up with one that suits the logo better
@adrianyyy I think it's pretty unwieldy and doesn't translate well but also open source projects should care less about branding because it doesn't matter as long as the project is cool
@noiob @adrianyyy the problem is that if we want to go to the mainstream, the name is a important step to introduce new users to the project
@adrianyyy @fossdd Fedora, Ubuntu and Alpine are great examples for names that work just as a collection of syllables for most people in the world
ask anyone who doesn't speak English to pronounce Postmarket OS
@adrianyyy @fossdd now that I think about it a lot of communications already shorten it to pmOS
