So I took a 4-hour CPR/AED/First Aid course and I'm like... uhh, is that it? Every response was like a sentence or two of information. I get the virtue of keeping things as simple as possible but I want to learn *way more*.

@starkatt It's like that to keep people from wandering too much into the weeds, and most of those are a "stabilize until help" focus.

Did they teach you breath CPR or just compression, I'm curious? Also if no one's mentioned it there's an app for...CPR radar, basically? Pulsepoint will tell you if someone within (X) has called for help.

@Doephin the instructor taught rescue breaths. He said the big reason it's not in the main curriculum anymore is that people being squeamish about mouth to mouth lead to them not providing any aid, and that if you're not comfortable with that you really should be at least doing chest compressions.

@Doephin he also recommended carrying a compact face shield.
