@karma it's weird for sure

like, i'm ace, and the kinds of things i would post on an AD aren't even explicit--but i still feel the need to add a disclaimer to my profile that there might be some things i will post with cws, and that i should only operate in spaces that i think an AD wouldn't violate consent

so, even though this is my main, i kinda treat it like a sorta-pseudo AD

on birdsite, i have two accounts because i have to, but the compartmentalization feels terrible since it feels like i'm simultaneously spreading myself too thin, and also only able to interact with others with half of me hidden--because nobody wants to interact with my AD for fun computery and creative things, and nobody on my main probably even wants to know a core part of my identity even exists

so i'm constantly torn at which is better--though the way i can just kinda exist like this on masto definitely feels more comfortable, so i've kinda concluded that this is probably the best way for me personally
