@fen ive encountered this in the japanese course once or twice too

@typhlosion "which character is written 'ware' in japanese: 1. 我 2. 々"

(i know it's a stretch because the duplication marker is pronounced whatever but it's my joke and it's as bad as i want)

@fen i think it had something to do with, like, "to measure" vs "measurement" both having the same pronunciation and being able to come up at the same time in a "pick which one of these is pronounced this way" question

@fen oh i remember now it's 秤 hakari (scales, for weighing things) vs 計り hakari (the act of measuring)
