they missed a trick by making the hawaii-inspired pokémon region's food item be malasadas rather than the already aptly named poke bowls
@typhlosion But the Pokémon can eat other Pokémon, that's fine and natural.
@typhlosion disagree, on the st anne they had sausages & meats and the like and ash & misty stuffed their faces
@deejvalen the anime is quite a different beast from the games, especially back in the gen 1 and gen 2 days. modern pokémon is a lot more strict
@typhlosion sandwiches and curry have meats tho?
@deejvalen oh do they? (looks it up) oh so they do, i stand corrected
@typhlosion I'm kinda wondering if animals are still a thing but pokemon ate like, dominant
that or they *do* eat pokemon like that thought of eating a sliced up Magikarp after the st anne sunk
@typhlosion 100% accurate.
i suppose the reason they didnt do this would be the fact that poke tends to have seafood in it and they don't like showing non-vegetarian dishes in pokémon afaik (presumably to avoid the "it's pokémon you're eating" implication)
EDIT: i am wrong, pokémon food items do absolutely have meat in them sometimes. in that case what the hell game freak
