You know, for all the shit I've got, it's still not as much as what people do to Ginny
Imo we should really introduce admin only access to report federation, that would probably help her out a lot
I also think we need to add a window that deleted data sticks around and eventually gets deleted so we can track down abuse instead of letting them delete data and have zero metrics we can use to track em down

@vahnj Agreed, I've been disappointed that this hasn't been a bigger focus than it has been

@bea @dog @vahnj Also note that anti-abuse tools in the federated social web are a SocialCG topic of interest. If there's ideas / workflows to be persued or being explored it would be good to hear.
Last SocialCG's meeting was largely on the topic: https://www.w3.org/wiki/SocialCG/2017-10-11/minutes

@vahnj Admin-only access to report federation sounds like a great idea to me. Every time inter-instance conflicts arise, there are always complaints about how it fills up the public timelines. And arguably, airing all that dirty laundry in public just escalates things.
I tried hard with admins.town, but I think some inter-admin UI is probably the best solution.

@nolan @vahnj
Every time this comes up I keep arguing for out of band admin communication. I mean, I think we're 'supposed' to use the admin email contacts but that just doesn't seem like how people are dealing with things. I seriously do think putting this sort of obvious purpose built interface into the default interface would help keep these situations more civil.
Also yes, report federation please.

I don't give a shit what you think of her, if you think she deserves the harassment she gets you're wrong
