Unfettered global keyword searches are the number one reason I don't post publicly on bird site.
@starkatt I hated how when I was public I'd get a ton of random responses to months old posts and I attribute that to searching
In the world of forums that was never allowed and was known as necroing a thread. When did that become acceptable???

@vahnj It became acceptable -- or at least typical -- when there was no moderation mechanism to stop asshats/BrandsTM from doing it :/
