@vahnj i'd love to hear more about your idle game plans. If you know a good toolkit, or build one, I'd love to hear more about it.
I can make numbers go up in all kinds of interesting ways.

@literorrery well we have a game design! It's intended to be pretty short in general but using idle game mechanics to make it accessible.
The idea is you play a ukelele and travel the lands gaining companions and generating fame and happiness and use it to upgrade your music, venues and companions. End game is basically just a final version of the song that evolves as you upgrade your skills.

@literorrery I'm gonna be digging into unity to see if there's anything for idle games. There's one for adventure games so I figure hopefully there's one!

@vahnj What're you using for your engine? Something self-written, or is there a framework you're adapting for the meat of it?
I would love to know more _about_ game design, but I'm, like... not a UX person. I have stories I want to tell and systems to tell them in, but making them accessible outside of pure text is completely alien to me. =o.o=

@literorrery accessibility of the game I mean in terms of difficulty - I'm leveraging idle game mechanics to make it so that you can effectively play the game without having to actually play it well since the clicking component is a music mini game

@literorrery I'm mostly relying on nick to build it the actual system of it since he wanted to be the programmer guy.
