Well that's a new and amusing way for gender-presentation ambiguity to manifest.
Went to get flu shot at work, the form I filled out had a question:
#5: Are you pregnant or suspect you might be pregnant?
So the nurse is going through confirming my answers, like they have to do, and rather than skipping or reading that one, she just goes "And have you read #5 very carefully?"
Rarely have I witnessed such a combination of remarkable tact and remarkable awkwardness. XD
@indi I've had that interaction before as well. XD I've found the most effective way to defuse it is "Oh, I don't have a uterus."
After that it's a 50/50 chance of a followup question that generates awkwardness. ^^;;;
