In the unlikely event anyone was curious: I heard back from one of the Trumpies who bailed on a debate.
She sent me a private message in which she made an excuse for never following up with her promised "list" of evidence, called me a "typical leftist" who's "obsessed" with her, called me a "loser," reminded me "Trump is still my president," and then "owned" me with a SINGLE link that ignored every single one of the criteria I had already laid out for acceptable evidence.

@Thaminga Yup, ran right through the whole Trump playbook, in page order. If our side could figure out a way to consistently defeat these tactics, I think we'd destroy them, because I'm increasingly convinced they're the only tactics they've got.
It's the classic "chess with a pigeon" problem. They think "chess" involves shitting on the board. They don't care if they've lost at actual chess. And if you try to strangle them, everyone in the park thinks YOU'RE the asshole. :)
