music/mh request
Hey. Had a rough day, feeling down on myself. Earnestly want to snap myself out of it.
Could kinda use a musical Experience with a capital E. Something like Boards of Canada's Geogaddi or The Caretaker's Everywhere at the End of Time.
Something intense and a little magical, maybe a little (or a lot) difficult, even something more than a little disturbing.
Melancholy is good. Even depressing is good. Horrific is bad. Angry is bad. Hopeless is bad. Creepy is very, very, very good. Not creepy is also OK I guess. :)
Concept album, probably, is most likely to do the trick.
Thank you as always for your assistance in this experiment. <3
With your assistance, we can perfect the safe, speedy, and effective mental unclogging of tigers in our lifetime. (And make me less of a grumpy P.I.T.A. for @anthracite to have to deal with. <3 )

@Phorm Okay, I am IMPRESSED, geniefox.
I have heard "Eple" before. Hearing it again triggered a MONSOON of pleasant nostalgia.
And I have absolutely no idea from where. I'm acting on faith that it's not just déjà vu.
The weird thing is that it seems to have a number of well-known appearances... and I know NONE of them are it. (e.g., the Apple setup music, Austin City Limits, PBS affiliate KLRU...)
But I want to say it was licensed in SOME damn thing that I watched regularly. I want to say public TV. Maybe even interstitial music.
Anyhow, well done. Granted a wish neither of us even knew had been made. <3

My absolute and sincere pleasure <3 I confess that when I first heard "So Easy" and "Eple" (I sort of consider them one song, or at least heavily linked songs) that it made me feel nostalgia as well. I don't exactly know where from either - just as you say.
I've listened to it so many times over the years by now, though, that it's fused with my brain.
And I'm super happy <3 I hope some magic reaches you soon
(Oh, and the "Good Frequencies" bit at the end of "So Easy" is a nice, suggestive touch, too ^.^ )
