Yeah, fuck it. Maybe I'll march right back again, but Twitter is over for now.
When my own "friends" are giving me shit for expressing qualms about *physically assaulting* people... ordinary fucking kids who may be just about to LEAVE the abusive community they've been seduced into... that's toxicity, in my book. That's not "woke," that's "gone psychotic from sleep deprivation."
And that attitude is here, too, but at least I have better tools for keeping it at bay.

@zebratron2084 I've already seen there be basically no room to say anything against punching people, because Godwin's Law is fucked and over with. It's a thought-stopper. You can "win" anything by a single name, and a in-theory unassailable more position.

@emanate No, no, I get it and I think I'm with ya. The combination of "liberals are really centrists which are really Nazis" with "it's always OK to punch Nazis and we'll get REALLY INDIGNANT at any attempt to roll us back on this whatsoever" just... unsettles the fuck out of me. It's like EVERY attempt at moderation or expressing concern gets rejected as Creeping Fascism, and I'm getting real tired of it too. >_<

@emanate It's like, I ask if just maybe our movement's going too far, and I get a "NO, IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT, AND HOW DARE YOU ASK." Which sounds a hell of a lot to me like, "WE HAVE ALREADY THOUGHT ABOUT IT AND DECIDED WE DON'T GIVE A SHIT. DON'T HARSH OUR MORAL CLARITY BUZZ."
