@zetasyanthis thanks! Part of responding better is this is a really strong reaction. That’s gotta be low blood sugar (I got breakfast but am still hungry) or childhood (likelier; may post about it later).
I know part of it is the fear of being stuck in dead end jobs like the current, and it puts lots of pressure on art as a “I do this kinda well, maybe it’s my way out of the trap?” Which means any technical skill stuff can really feel devastating.
