Cat health

Had to take my baby princess 18 year old cat to vet tonight. She was drinking alot of water, had no appetite, hadn't even finished her breakfast & during the last week her vomiting increased and was later in digestion instead of soon after eating.

Vet took her for a couple hours, she was dehydrated and constipated. Vet gave her an enema, subdermal fluids to hydrate her, took blood for priority tests, gave her some nausea medication and gave her some chicken which she ate.

Got her home 30min ago and she has eaten some biscuits, but ill have to take her back to vet in the morning so she can have another check up and more sub dermal fluids and an enema if needs and possibly get her blood results back.

i really hope she isnt sick or having some bad like kidneys deteriorating or diabetes.

Im going to make sure to give her extra cuddles tonight to make up for vet visit.

took cat back to vet this morning for another check up & to get blood results.

Her kidneys have gone to shit. The vets are taking her for the weekend to see if they can "jump start" them, but she has months left max, a week or 2 worst case.

I dont think can cope with this at this point of my life. Im not sure i can cope without my companion cat, she has been me for 18 years and the one if i have gone to with all my problems, secrets, anxiety & depression.

Im crying alot right now 3/
