I need to stop being a sysadmin in my off hours as much. Need to detach from work more.

That shredded the hell out of my macbook's battery, fuck. REGEXES ARE A CPU HOG ok not really.

Brute force as in I have no idea what I'm doing and kind of pasting through and seeing if it matches shit in Patterns in Mac OS and a couple JS regex syntax tools.

HAH kind of brute force figured out how to block a word but not if its in a phrase, whee

Ready for a Mastodon client that can filter words now....

Another fucking lonely as shit weekend. Being asexual and aromantic sucks where 99.9% of the population wants physical contact and or fuck. Furthering my argument that I'm going to die alone.

Completely schooled the special snowflake Linux on desktop guy. He was assigning IRQs manually and purposefully bottlenecking the system in several places and saying it’s too slow, but I do his same test to the letter over a conference call and I can’t make it manifest. 2 weeks of work paid off. It’s like fucking crack.

@impiaaa @garbados

my favorite prank is to put

echo "sleep 0.1" >> ~/.bashrc

at the end of someone's .bashrc. Every time they open a new shell, it'll get slower by a tenth of a second and they'll never know why.

Today has also been a day of scheduling and rescheduling meetings/appointments ugh

I understand the concepts of frequency, resonance, waves, propagation, reflection, etc. so it makes it easier.

Speech pathologist professor gave me the materials she uses for therapy/lecture instead of those handouts and I love it.

my favorite sex position is still

*twitches, vibrates, suddenly stiffens into t-pose, clipping through your body and the bed, sinks halfway into the floor, then deforms into spikes out to the horizon before snapping back to normal, totally unfussed spooning*

Most of my therapy is "oh, do this one engineering thing like this" because most of my problem solving techniques for tech work, I just don't know how to apply them to myself.

Somehow successfully juggling 7 different cases at work and they're all complicated. So many numbers....so many numbers. On average, I build about 10 different enterprise networks a week to either reproduce a bug or validate. Then nuke, pave, lather, rinse, repeat.

First Speech Pathology appointment nfjdichfjsjs I apparently have an advantage with this because of my singing

My understanding of the boys:
-they have returned to town (vacation?)
-milkshakes attract them
-Cold Ones keep them around (additional research on these creatures needed)
-they are of summer (born in warmer months?)
-some of them are from a pet shop? (Toys??)
-they don't cry?

I want iridium earrings, but doubt that will happen. Probably get something titanium though.
