Poor Sigwin Kerman sends the SRB into a spin, lights it and down we go. As she's dropping unpowered and uncontrollable I realize I could have just pushed the sat into the right orientation. Oops.

Luckily command pods auto-right while falling (it's why they're shaped like that). So a very hot return but she lives.

The sat has been knocked out of orbit by her violent return burn. Somehow it survives rentry only to splat on the ground below.

So I'm working on putting up a communication network. The rocket goes command pod-deorbit srb- satellite-launch stack.

Launch went well if sloppy. But just as I'm about to do the circularization burn the craft stops responding. WTF?

...oh. The solar panels don't sun track and are edge on. Great. Decouple the return stack and..oh right no power I can't reorient to return.

So. GET OUT AND PUSH.

Complete parachute failure, multiple parts ripped away from aero stress, and still performs SCIENCE for me after landing. Not bad little probe, not bad.

At the sound of the tone the doephin will have booted after (ranged check error) failed attempts
