@Phorm @anthracite yeah given the hex stuff this is almost certainly a false positive. At a guess I think the AV may have actually been at fault here- it and Steam didn't play nice when it tried to scan a partially-downloaded file, which resulted in minor file corruption.

Just delete the .exe and redownload, see what you get.

re last toot- if you have a 3DS you're still using at this point, just ignore update prompts. Nintendo isn't adding features or fixing bugs anymore, just throwing in more crap.

Why do the Souls games have levels? it seems to make their design space harder in that you have to communicate to the player "you're under leveled " or "you aren't doing this right" instead of just the later
