It deeply bothers me that, in describing a building that resembles three sides of a rectangle, I can't think of a single good simple alternative to the term "U-shaped" that isn't "horseshoe-shaped".
Any ideas?
@ElectricKeet something riffing off terminology for fully-enclosed courtyards, maybe? Or whatever those geographical things where you have a bit of water surrounded on three sides by land?
