A big commercial project that I'm involved in, not sure if it's weird enough
I've been part of a studio that's been working on a transhuman & alternative TTRPG for a while, and they're about to break ground on their crowdfunding.
This is the link:

Our team has been concerned that TTRPGs that delve into neomorphism or transhumanism have one foot firmly planted in the bad side of the Eighties, with bizarre elements such as Cthulhu or "cyber-psychosis" or some other message of bleak hopelessness written by xenophobic edgelords. Our goal with this project is to celebrate transcendence, so that's what we want to present.
If you are someone who is interested in this kind of tabletop role-playing experience, we'd love to hear from you on what you would want a hopepunk/positive experience would be, so we can include that. Games are for people to share, together.
Thank you for your consideration. Enjoy the present while we hope for the future.
I was today years old when I realized that the millennium anniversary of movable type will occur within my lifetime. I think that's pretty cool!
hype! 💰
One of the tabletop games I helped make on is on sale, today only, for about five bucks. It's got a hot werewolf who rips people apart with her bare hands. There's also other stuff that's almost as cool as that.

I love this story of the funny 1up sound glitch in Super Mario Bros. 3
Someone mentioned Castlevania and I automatically found myself thinking of Your Asshole Dad’s Castle Is Back Again:

Temperamental divination.
So I've been doing two single-card draws from two different decks that were gifted to me a couple months ago. I ask the same question of each: "Through what point will my day take me?" Each deck has its own personality, so I end up with some interesting messages...
The Rainbow Unicorn Tarot is the snarky one. It loves to give reads that are accurate in oblique ways, and more often for specific moments than overall theme.
The Crystal Unicorn Tarot is the honest but slightly confused one. There's no telling whether the upright or reverse reading is the right one, but whichever it is will be significantly as a strong theme over the course of the day.
Today, Rainbow gave me the Wheel of Fortune.
Crystal gave me the Tower.
I dunno what that's gonna mean, but I feel like I should call what few relatives I have left to make sure everything's all right...
