is there something wrong with our graphics drivers if playing a youtube video is using a significant amount of the 3D engine but none of the video decode/processing at all?

@Felthry nah that's fine, Youtube videos are usually VP9 nowadays and I'm guessing you don't have a hardware decoder for that

@noiob and I dunno, this laptop has a gtx 1660 in it so i would expect all the most modern features

@noiob hmm. i wonder if it'll help if I reduce the monitor refresh rate to 60 hz (from 144)

@Felthry I doubt that it'd do much, since the decode load is going to be the same
