we don't go through butter quickly enough to go through a pack of butter before it goes bad, so we just get olive oil instead because it lasts longer
hence using olive oil instead of butter for grilled cheese
@starkatt it'd probably be a bit better if we hadn't undercooked it
something about the bread or the olive oil makes it brown a bit faster so we thought it was done but the cheese wasn't properly melted yet and we couldn't be bothered to put it back on the stove
