poking at dark souls 3. Seem to have accidentally enabled some kind of debug mode or found a weird glitch at least; this only happens when locked on to an enemy which makes screenshots hard but:
-F

also i just noticed the HP and tuff is far higher than it should be

the only weird thing we did here is we left it on the title screen for a few hours while we did other things
-F

anyway we are not going to explore this any further and just restart the game, it's just an interesting bug
-F

@nautilee yeah but... normally i wouldn't expect that to be a problem??
-F

@Felthry

you'd be surprised what can happen when you're doing other stuff and accidently knock a game's memory out of ram

@nautilee yeah I suppose, but what seems really odd is that the other stuff wasn't even using that computer!
-F

@Felthry a friend just pointed out to me that that looks like it's rendering an entire spritesheet, not cropped to a single sprite

@noiob that sounds likely, possibly multiple entire spritesheets because it looks like it's got one aligned with each of the four equipment icons?
-F

@Felthry It seems to happen completely at random, as far as I know no one has found a reliable way to trigger it. The game's help together with staples and twine, though, so a debug overlay appearing during normal gameplay isn't too far outside of what you can expect. -Zu

@Felthry Sometimes, if it's recurring, you can fix it by verifying/repairing the installation in steam, but not always. -Zu

@SquirrelLilly It's not recurring, just a one off thing. Restarting the game fixed it.
