Now that Felthry's hacked our 3DS, anyone have any good recommendations for games we might not have tried, on anything that can be easily emulated?

@Felthry Good 3DS games?

Wario Ware Gold. Whether you've ever tried the Wario Ware series or not, this is the one to look into.

Fantasy Life. It's a very cute RPG with a life sim aspect. You can be a warrior or a magician, or you can just be a cook or a tree cutter. Combat is 100% optional.

Miitopia. Another RPG, this one lets you use Miis to create all of the characters in the game, from heroes to villains to NPCs. Has a really cool relationship system.

@noiob @Griff @Facet I was thinking mostly DS and anything that can be injected into the virtual console--GBA, GBC, GB, MD/Genesis, SNES, and NES, and possibly also Turbografx/PC-Engine

@Felthry Mostly DS? I can help you with that.

Retro Game Challenge -- This is a very weird and charming game. You're sent back in time and forced to become a child living through video game culture of the 80s. It includes new games in a retro style and snippets of video game magazines to really give you this weird feeling of immersion in its world.

@Felthry
Ghost Trick -- It's a murder mystery, and you play as a time-travelling ghost who can possess and manipulate inanimate objects, and you basically use your powers to undo murders while trying to solve the mystery of your own death.

@Felthry There are three Ace Attorney games and four Professor Layton games on DS, and I think all of them are worthwhile.

@Felthry Wario Ware DIY -- Your mileage may vary, especially now that there's no online community to back it up, but I found this to be a really interesting game-making toy. Very simple but surprisingly powerful.

@Felthry I'm hoping you've tried Elite Beat Agents. Very cute story-based rhythm game.

Most of the rest of my favorite DS games are either... you've probably already heard of them, or they were good for their time but may not have aged well.

@Griff we've heard of it but never tried it because we're really picky about music
