blue LEDs are overused
give us back the red and yellow and green

@Siph I just think blue is a very bad color for power indicators on like power strips that might be plugged in in a bedroom where someone's trying to sleep
-F
@noiob @Siph oh! that's interesting.
Phosphorus the element is commonly used in other types of LEDs so i thought you might've meant that; InGaAlP, GaAlP, InGaP, all these weird III-V semiconductors are common in red, yellow, orange, and green LEDs but you have to move to InGaN, GaAlN, and other nitride semiconductors for blue, violet, and UV ones

@Felthry Can I go with Cyan, Magenta and Red?
@FreyaManibrandr you can but those are unusual colors to get leds in!
one of the big problems is that blue LEDs are extremely noticeable in a dark room and having them as power indicators on a power strip or something makes it hard to go to sleep -F
@Felthry Ahh, I see. I have Cyan, Magenta and Red set as gain halos for my audio interface, and it feels very nice. Though to be fair, I have it set so that only intentional speaking and noisemaking at the microphone trips up the gain halos.
I guess magenta is still fairly valid if you can get it since it's not an intrusive colour.
@Felthry personally I like white leds
