@noiob the proper term is "capacitance", actually
you would think it would be capacity if you weren't familiar with electrical stuff though, wouldn't you?

@Felthry idk in German it's "Kondensator" and nothing condenses on it
@noiob "condenser" is an old term for it in english too, though we've only seen it in the term condenser microphone and in books at least 70 years old
we understand that the reasoning behind the name was that it "condenses" the electric field into a small area?
