Remember kids, the feds have a hard time infiltrating anarchist groups because we do our reading.
They've literally said as much in their own official reports to their superiors.
This is no reason to skip over using proper opsec when you need to, of course, but it does rather inform you of the opposition's mindset.

@LexYeen What do you mean by "because we do our reading"?
-F
@LexYeen unfortunately social anxiety makes that bit hard
-F
@Felthry I understand that, and the sheer density of the works being a barrier on its own. All of my knowledge is secondhand and distilled from countless other people's interpretations.
@LexYeen we don't know a whole lot of the theory, we just want to get people to work together and not against each other
work for the good of all, not the good of one at the expense of all
-F
@Felthry That's where I came to it from. You might not be able to articulate the details the way the big well-known thinkers have, or the way contemporary orators do, but you understand the assignment.
@LexYeen also, in response to the second paragraph: the cops would either get picked out pretty easily, or they would (preferably) realize how they're part of a corrupt system and leave it
-F
@Felthry The former happens far more often than the latter, though I will admit that while the latter is a rare event? When it does happen, it's an *incredible* boon to the communities that ex-cop lives and works in.
furry tangent, for the sake of amusement
@Felthry Apropos of nothing, my mind's eye fed me the image of one of your heads saying one post and the other saying the other. Consider the forked replies the turning of attention from one to the other, I suppose? 💙
re: furry tangent, for the sake of amusement
@LexYeen Perhaps that's how it was! I do tend to alternate heads when talking, when I'm multi-headed
also thank you, this is validating to know people see me with two heads
i hadn't realized just how much i need that validation
-F
@Felthry Yeah, that's where the book-club aspect of it comes in. Interpretations are passed around and discussed, questions are asked and answered, and folks who have a hard time getting through the material are given as much of a hand as they need to keep up with the group.
This process has a lovely side effect of making it easier to pick out the cops.
