@Felthry I haven't even seen *ANY* coverage of the situation at all anywhere on all of reddit other than the bayarea and seattlewa subreddits. reddit at large is p garbage right now

@vahnj reddit is a section of the internet that I've never had occasion to go to. I've heard both good and bad things about it (though the good things are mostly "it's better than youtube comments" or even "it's better than 4chan" so kind of damning with faint praise there) but never actually visited the site before outside of one or two google search results for video game stuff and junk
@Felthry yea, it's good if you go into very specialized subreddits with subcultures that dont bleed from elsewhere
for example the xcom subreddit is filled with 4channers, and you gotta be knowledgeable about the behaviors of the groups to understand what you're seeing
the best ones are smaller communities, or ones that revolve around your local geographics. tabletop communities are by and large pretty decent, though i've had a lot of bad experiences w/ r/PathfinderRPG.
